“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Matthew 28:19-20
As part of the mission of Castoria Bible Academy, we will seek to put into practice all the examples of Christ given through the Word of God. When God gives us the commandment to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, one of the greatest ways we can demonstrate this is by serving our community and beyond. Coupled with the Great Commission, CBA will seek to reach the ends of the Earth by serving in various capacities.

Potential Service Projects
Local Service Projects:
Pregnancy Help Center: The PHC exists to provide a confidential, safe, loving place where young women and men can come to discuss their situation with trained advocates and receive the best, most up-to-date information for them to make informed decisions. We would support their ministry efforts.
Manteca Unified School District: Through Compass, we would serve the local school system and lend a helping hand to homeless and foster youth.
Love Inc.: Love Inc. is an organization that’s making a tangible difference. They are the hub in the wheel connecting services to the needs of people in our community. We will support their efforts.
Love Manteca: In April, local entities gather to beautify and clean up the city of Manteca. We will provide a team to help in these efforts.
Domestic Service Opportunities:
San Francisco City Impact: An opportunity to worship and gather, then serve the Tenderloin community through a variety of outreaches.
Mennonite Disaster Relief: Respond to disasters, rebuild homes, and restore hope by organizing and empowering volunteers in the U.S. and Canada.
Sacramento Run to Feed the Hungry: Volunteer opportunity to help support the Sacramento Food Bank by assisting in Registration and Course setup.
Hume Lake Young Adults Retreat: March 8-10.
International Missions:
Students International:
This international trip will focus on meeting the holistic needs of people in vulnerable communities in Latin America. The IS staff leads ministry sites to serve those in need throughout the year. Students serve on short-term youth missions alongside SI missionaries, making a real difference in the lives of the people they serve.
Israel Study Tour:
The Israel Study Tour would be a 10-day tour of the Holy Land led by Jerusalem University College. Locations would include: Tel Aviv, Nazareth, Capernaum, Tiberias, Caesarea, Haifa, Acre, Rosh Hanikra, Golan Heights, Jerusalem, Yardenit, Masada National Park, Dead Sea.
Mexico:
A short-term mission trip would include tent camping on the property of Cuernavaca in Mexicali, Mexico. We would support the ministry of the pastor by providing manual labor, ministry to the homeless at the dumps, geriatric care, and ministry to children.
Brethren Global Partners:
South Africa: Sandile and Abby Mkhwanazi serve as Brethren Pastors in South Africa and are open to support from a short-term missions team to help in their ministry efforts.
India: Rev. Sudhir Kuma oversees a network of over 100 house churches that we would support on a short-term basis.
