Castoria Bible Academy

The Mission

Our mission at Castoria Bible Academy is to inspire, equip, and empower students to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ through a transformative educational experience rooted in Christian community.

The Vision

We believe in fostering a vibrant Christian community where students are nurtured, mentored, and challenged to grow spiritually, academically, and personally. Our dedicated mentors, faculty, and staff strive to cultivate a deep love for God and others, preparing our students to impact the world with servant leadership, moral integrity, and a lifelong commitment to learning. Together, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals who exemplify Christ’s love, grace, and truth in every aspect of their lives.

The Academy

The plan for fulfilling the Great Commandment to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength” is to provide an experience that develops young leaders through Christian community in five ways:

  • Bible Class

Students will participate in one Bible class each quarter. Guest speakers will be welcomed bi-weekly to teach and challenge the students. These guest speakers will provide a lesson and practical discipleship challenges for the students to grow over two weeks.

  • Christian Community

Dorm-style housing will be provided for students to experience daily life with other students who share a like-minded pursuit of Christ. Students will be challenged to live a life after the Acts 2:42 model of being devoted to apostolic teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer.

  • Mentorship

A major part of Castoria Bible Academy is the mentor/mentee relationship established between students and an older/wiser person of faith. Each student who commits to Castoria Bible Academy will be paired with a mentor for a year. In that year, students will walk through life under the guidance and direction of that mentor.

  • Travel

Travel will consist of a combination of service projects and study tours. Each year, students will be offered three service or mission trips. Locations may vary but could include: Israel, Turkey, Dominican Republic, and/or Mexico.

  • Opportunities

Opportunities will be provided for students to develop life skills through hands-on work experience. As a gap-year program, we will seek to provide a place of work where students can develop career skills and earn an income to support their lifestyle.
